Sen. Scott Wilk, R-Antelope Valley, is recognizing a local business as the 21st Senate District Small Business of the month.
The award is given to companies throughout the district, and this month’s was 24/7 Events.
24/7 Events is a wedding and event rental company located in Santa Clarita. Its offerings range from event rentals to live entertainment to luxury transportation, said owner Rob Cruikshank.
Cruikshank will be presented with a Senate certificate on Nov. 26 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the business headquarters.
Wilk, fellow business owners and members of the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance to recognize the business’s service and commitment to the community, according to a released statement from the senator’s office.
“It is an absolute blessing for all of us at 24/7 Events to be honored by Sen. Scott Wilk as Small Business of the Month for November,” Cruikshank said. “We are humbled by this prestigious recognition and are grateful to the 24/7 Events team members who work tirelessly to make achievements like this a reality for 24/7 Events.
