Katie Hill, Christy Smith and local representatives to gather Sunday in Santa Clarita

Rep. Katie Hill, D-Agua Dulce, Assemblywoman Christy Smith, D-Santa Clarita, and other local elected officials are expected to gather in Santa Clarita from 6:30-10 p.m. Sunday for a dinner and discussion with their constituents.

All are welcome to come meet and mingle with the elected representatives no matter their party, the event’s Facebook page states. “We will discuss how we can work together in the best interests of our country as a whole.”

The event is free and will held at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex in the meeting rooms across from the basketball courts, according to the event page. Guests will be free to mingle and interact with local residents before Maghrib prayers begin at 7:15 p.m. Speeches will follow at 7:40 p.m. and dinner will be served from 8:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
