In an attempt to inform local seniors and their loved ones about the dangers of dementia, Atria Santa Clarita will hold a discussion with Dr. Yuvraj Grewal from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and the public is invited to attend.

The program is titled, “Dementia Management and the Implications for You and Your Family,” and will feature a discussion with Grewal about the signs and symptoms of dementia, along with current pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical management options, a news release said Monday.

Grewal is board certified in neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is also affiliated with both Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital and Providence Holy Cross Hospital.

Interested residents are invited by Atria Santa Clarita staff to RSVP to Wednesday’s program by contacting 661-254-9933.
