A young woman was transported to a hospital after a vehicle struck her Friday night in Valencia, first responders said.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to reports of a traffic collision at around 8:44 p.m. near McBean Parkway and Skycrest Circle, according to spokeswoman Joy Choi.
“The call came in as a vehicle-vs.-pedestrian, involving a female teen,” she said.
A total of two people, including the teenage pedestrian, involved in the crash were transported to a hospital, Choi added.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies investigated the scene well after 9 p.m. and were immediately unavailable for comment.
