An overturned cement truck partially blocked lanes on Newhall Avenue, near the Highway 14 onramp, in Santa Clarita early Monday morning.
“We were responding to reports of an overturned cement truck,” said Leslie Lua, Los Angeles County Fire spokeswoman. “The call came in at 9:34 (a.m.) and our units were on scene at 9:41.”
By the time units arrived, the driver was out of the truck and did not require transportation to the hospital, Lua said.
The collision has since been cleared from LA County Fire, according to Lua.
California Highway Patrol issues a SIG alert for the southbound side of the Newhall Ave. off-ramp which will last approximately one hour, according to CHP officials.
