Firefighters responded to a gas main break at a Canyon Country construction site Monday afternoon.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to reports that a main gas line had been hit during construction on the 17300 block of Humphreys Parkway just after 3 p.m., according to Supervisor Leslie Lua.
“When units arrived on (the) scene, they didn’t see anything wrong and were released, (as the Southern California Gas Co.) was there,” Lua said.
No evacuations were ordered, nor were any injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The address firefighters and crews with the SoCal Gas responded to matched that of the Vista Canyon site, a new housing development currently under construction in Canyon Country.
