Fire department responds to reported seizure at Pitchess

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a reported seizure at Pitchess Detention Center Wednesday afternoon. 

An ambulance transported one patient to a nearby hospital shortly after 2 p.m., according to department spokesman Jonathan Matheny. 

Sheriff’s officials at Pitchess Detention Center did not provide details about the incident, citing a lack of information.
