Santa Clarita spices up the ‘Celebrate’ series, spotlights Indian culture (VIDEO)

The city of Santa Clarita’s “Celebrate” is an event series that celebrates cultures, customs and food from around the world. On the first Friday of the month, from April to September, a different culture will be celebrated each month at the new Canyon Country Community Center. India was celebrated for the month of June.

Remaining events include:

• Friday, July 1 – Greece

• Friday, Aug. 5 – Caribbean (Jamaica, Bahamas)

• Friday, Sept. 2 – Mexico
