City bus strikes hydrant near Arroyo Seco Junior High

A Santa Clarita city bus struck a fire hydrant Monday afternoon in front of Arroyo Seco Junior High School in Saugus, Los Angeles County Fire Department officials said.

According to Capt. Ara Mouradian of the Fire Department, there was no damage and no water released from the hydrant.

Sgt. Juan Murales of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station said the call for service at Vista Delgado near Decoro Drive came in at around 2:48 p.m.

Mouradian said there were no injuries.
