A body was found on May Way and Monarch Ridge Drive on Sunday afternoon, according to officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Deputies were dispatched at 2:38 p.m. and arrived at the scene shortly after, according to Deputy Nicolas Marinelli with the station.
One deputy began investigating and contacted the correct investigators to respond to the location, Marinelli said.
The caller was walking by the area when they noticed the body, according to Marinelli.
Two deputies are on the scene as of the publication of this story, holding the area for investigators.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were dispatched at 2:42 p.m. and arrived on the scene at 2:48 p.m., according to Capt. David Dantic with the Fire Department.
Dantic said the call came in as a cardiac arrest.
Firefighters went available at 2:54 p.m. with no patients transported.
