A woman was arrested on suspicion of burglary Monday evening after officers discovered there was a warrant for her arrest, according to officials with the California Highway Patrol Newhall-area Office.
Officers conducted an enforcement stop on the woman and a warrant check was conducted, according to an email statement by Officer Carlos Burgos-Lopez with the CHP.
The woman had a $60,000 warrant for her arrest, Burgos-Lopez’s statement said.
She was placed under arrest on suspicion of burglary due to the warrant that had been issued in the Antelope Valley, the statement said.
She was transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station where she was booked, according to the statement.
