A woman and man were arrested on suspicion of different charges during a domestic violence incident at the intersection of Jason Drive and Via Princessa in Canyon Country in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Deputies arrested the Canyon Country woman on suspicion of felony vandalism with no bail after she caused significant damage to the victim’s vehicle during an argument, according to an email statement from Deputy Mariela Picard, public information officer for the station.

The victim and suspect were in a dating relationship at the time of the incident, Picard’s statement said.

The victim, who also ended up being a suspect, was a man from the San Fernando Valley, according to the statement.

He was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence and held in lieu of $20,000 bail at the SCV Sheriff’s Station, the statement said.

The investigation remains ongoing, Picard’s email said.
