Recent comments at the City Council meeting mischaracterized Soroptimist as a political organization. In fact, Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley is a non-political, volunteer-based service organization. Our mission is to strengthen communities through service, collaboration, and the empowerment of women and girls. Last year alone, our Dream It, Be It program reached over 400 local high school girls, and our Live Your Dream program supported 30 women pursuing higher education to help create a brighter future for their families.
We are committed to serving with integrity and purpose — focused on helping women and girls thrive, not politics.
