In Re: Lynn Wright, “The Mystery Senator,” letters, Aug. 21.
Mr. Wright and I are on completely different sides when it comes to politics but I always enjoy reading his submissions because I find him very articulate, well-versed and he speaks his mind — qualities to be respected even by those who hold opposing views. And also important is that he actually did research to check his gut feeling before writing his letter. It has always been my experience that with few exceptions intelligent people “act,” they don’t “react.”
Having said all that, I absolutely and totally agree with his observations about Mr. (Arthur) Saginian’s recent letter about his mysterious and unnamed Democrat who seemed to be so enamored of President Donald Trump.
