Question: Hi Robert, I’m happy that I finally have something to write in to you about. Thank you for your work, I’ve learned so much just by reading your article. I can’t find anything that works to keep the dog urine from killing the grass in the areas they frequent. Do you know of any tricks that will help?
– Stan S.
Answer: Stan, that’s the age-old question when it comes to dogs and yards. No, there is nothing that I’ve ever learned about aside from being there every time they relieve themselves and diluting it with water. Not very realistic for most people, so I would recommend a small area set aside for this very purpose, that is maybe gravel or the manufactured turf. You’ll need some time and dog training skills to get them to only go there, but it is possible to do. Best of luck.
