A 10-year-old child was transported after being accidentally shot by a BB gun at the 27300 block of Manzanita Lane on Sunday afternoon, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Deputies were dispatched at 3:04 p.m., according to Sgt. Ryan Elsee with the station.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were dispatched to an initial call of a gunshot victim at 2:58 p.m., according to Capt. David Dantic with the Fire Department.
The child was transported at 3:16 p.m., Dantic said.
