The person found dead at the entrance of Six Flags Magic Mountain on Saturday has been identified as 41-year-old Anthony Travaglia, of Nevada, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office.
Sheriff deputies were alerted of a medical emergency at approximately 5 p.m. near the main entrance of the theme park, Sgt. Ryan Elsee of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station said during initial reports.
Travaglia appeared to be suffering from cardiac arrest, according to Capt. David Dantic of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, and after life-saving measures were performed, he was declared dead at the scene of the incident. Firefighters cleared the call about 40 minutes after they initially arrived on the scene, according to Dantic.
The cause of death for Travaglia has been deferred as of the publication of this story, according to the Medical Examiner.
