Proposition 50, designed by Gavin Newsom and his ilk, must be defeated. The proposed congressional district boundaries do nothing to promote representation of we the people.
Look at the new map Gavin wants us to approve. The Santa Clarita Valley (District 27) will be splintered out into three different congressional districts (26, 27 and 30). The gerrymandering will link Santa Clarita with Palmdale and North Hollywood. Castaic will have the same congressional representative as Calabasas and Oxnard. Even Agua Dulce and Acton will have new partners in Burbank and West Hollywood.
The map doesn’t lie, but Newsom does. Proposition 50 is not beneficial to California voters. It is only a tool for liberals to further control you. If you have not voted yet, do so now. Look at the map and say “no” to this sinister effort to divide and conquer our community. Vote no on Prop. 50!
