Well, all I can say is that I’m glad to see that I gave Lynn Wright and Rick Barker a good laugh (Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, respectively). Judging from the tone and content of Mr. Barker’s letter I’m guessing he might be up for starting a mutual admiration club with Mr. Wright. Regarding their similar, and somewhat humorous, responses to my “Mystery Senator,” I will quote from John Heywood’s 1546 book “A Dialogue of Proverbs”:
“He who laughs last laughs best.”
