A 39-year-old Valencia man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and resisting a peace officer on the 24400 block of Vista Ridge Drive on Tuesday evening, according to officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Before deputies arrived, there was reportedly a verbal argument between the suspect and his wife that escalated into a physical altercation, according to Shirley Miller, spokeswoman for the station.
During his arrest, the suspect allegedly physically resisted deputies and was taken into custody and booked at the station’s jail, Miller said.
He later posted bond and was released Wednesday, Miller added.
