News release
Hart District’s Got Talent Variety Showcase is back on Friday at the Saugus High School Performing Arts Center, with nearly double the talent from the event’s first year, according to a news release from the nonprofit William S. Hart Education Foundation.
The district-wide variety show showcases talent for all students, teachers and administrators in the William S. Hart Union High School District.
Tickets are $15 for general admission, $25 for VIP, and $10 for students with ID. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.wisheducationfoundation.org/wish-showcase or at the door, subject to availability. Doors open at 6 p.m. for open seating and the performances begin at 6:30 p.m.
“WiSH is thrilled to have composer/producer/director/guitarist Michael Nomad Ripoll and performance coach/field producer/casting and tour manager Danyelle Lola Sanders as part of the Hart District’s Got Talent Variety Showcase team,” the release said.
The event is designed as a talent showcase in which performers will not be judged.
Established in 2011, WiSH “bridges the gap” in state funding for education and answers the call of teachers and administrators for program resources and supplies that enrich the educational experience of the over 20,000 students in the Hart district, 30% of which are socioeconomically challenged, the release said.
