First responders were called to the 18600 block of Oakmoor Street after a young girl was suffering a medical emergency at Leona Cox Elementary School on Thursday afternoon, according to officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The girl was around 4 years old and was conscious and breathing, according to Shirley Miller, spokeswoman with the station.
The incident was around 1:27 p.m. and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel transported her, according to Edith Lai with the Fire Department.
A school employee who was reached by phone said there was no one available at the time to comment about the incident.
