A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a white Ford Ranger rolled over and ejected one person on Stratus Street and Skyline Ranch Road in Canyon Country on Saturday night, according to officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to a call of a traffic collision with a person trapped at west Sierra Highway and Skyline Ranch Road around 5:42 p.m., according to an official with the Fire Department.

Sgt. R. Arambulo with the station, who declined to give his first name, said there were two people in the car at the time of the incident.

He added that two separate callers requested deputies for a possible drunk driver, and they reported that someone was ejected from the vehicle.

Jonathan Torres, spokesman for the Fire Department, said that firefighters were on the scene at 5:46 p.m. and one minute later there was no one trapped in the vehicle despite initial reports.

Around 6:09 p.m., L.A. County Public Works personnel were notified of the light pole down, Torres added.

Firefighters closed the call at 6:18 p.m. with no transports reported, Torres said.
