I love Mr. SCV, and his LONG excuse (John Boston, Aug. 14) about his periorbital hematoma. We seniors might have been just as sympathetic if he would have said, “Help! I’ve fallen, AICGU!”
I was drawn especially to his comment about our stingy Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency, on a more serious note. It seems that developers and the Planning Commission are not thinking clearly about our limited water. How could they all be so naïve as to be pushing for more and more development of thousands of new homes all over the SCV? We’ve been reading forever about how anxious they all are to ignore the environmental and infrastructure issues here, in favor of their desire to enrich themselves.
How will we all live comfortably here in our suburban enclave with not enough of everything? Let’s all complain to those who don’t seem to be listening.
