Over the years, I’ve noticed Gloria Mercado-Fortine showing up again and again, not for the spotlight, but for the people. At local events, lending a hand, listening, offering encouragement, and following through. That kind of work rarely makes headlines, but it’s where trust is built. Anyone can make promises during an election. Character shows in what someone does long before asking for your vote.
