As a Santa Clarita resident for more than 20 years, I have seen our community grow and evolve. I have also seen the results of Gloria Mercado-Fortine’s leadership and direct work within our local school districts, helping shape the quality of education and the community Santa Clarita is today.
As a computer science engineer and project manager, I understand that good intentions are not enough. Leadership should be measured by preparation, accountability and results. Gloria does not simply show up: She listens, brings people together and she delivers. She is a team player and understands the bigger picture for a greater good.
Her decades of service in education and throughout our community demonstrate that her commitment to Santa Clarita began long before she became a candidate. Her experience is genuine, her record is proven and her dedication to local families is clear.
As a husband and father, I care deeply about the future of our schools, the safety of our neighborhoods and the quality of life our children will inherit. Gloria has earned my trust and the trust of my family because she has already demonstrated that she can turn commitment into meaningful action.
