To Arthur Saginian (Letters, Aug. 13): Sir, just because someone does not agree with President Barack Obama does not mean that he was “duped” by Iran. It is one thing to not agree with the 44th president. It is another to simply just produce typical Fox News talking points here on the letters page and expect everyone to believe that he was duped with zero facts provided.
I wrote a letter that produced facts and evidence as to how the Iran nuclear deal worked. And guess what: Donald Trump is pursuing a more favorable deal with the “liars.” There was no agreement to a $300 billion reconstruction package, and the Strait of Hormuz was still open after the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
I think your frustration with Iranian relations should be addressed toward the current president rather than Barack Obama.
