Why am I voting for Kelvin Driscoll for City Council member for District 5?
Kelvin recognizes that our East Side district includes residents of all ages and backgrounds, and he believes our community is strongest when we unite around shared priorities like safe neighborhoods, responsive local government, responsible growth, and a secure future for families. He is focused on key issues such as public safety, support for first responders, responsible development oversight, and better traffic flow as the city expands. He’s also committed to strengthening parks, youth programs, senior services, and local resources that keep Santa Clarita successful and welcoming for everyone. This focus is what we need on the East Side.
Kelvin emphasizes that city government must manage taxpayer dollars carefully, operating with transparency, accountability and a commitment to delivering measurable results. He understands that families today face higher costs, longer commutes and growing concerns about how our city manages growth. I believe our city needs a council member who will listen to the East Side residents, work collaboratively, and stay focused on practical, community-driven solutions that improve our daily lives.
That is the kind of younger leadership with new ideas for Santa Clarita I want to see on our City Council, and that is why I’m voting for Kelvin Driscoll for District 5.
