As an extensive support needs teacher who is actively advocating for our students, hearing from potential trustees helps me identify who it is will work with us. I want for our school board to be supportive of our fellow educators and to hear our voices. At Saturday’s meet & greet with the Saugus Teachers Association endorsed candidates, I was able to hear from Cindy Hallman (Trustee Area 5), Anna Griese (Trustee Area 2), and Kevin Kim (Trustee Area 1) and it’s easy to see that with these three candidates and our new superintendent the Saugus Union School District can change for the better. Anna Griese has been one of the only voices for teachers and I am so happy to see her pursuing another term! Cindy Hallman and Kevin Kim are looking to be voices for our teachers and students. That itself brings hope!
