To Abigayle Monis (letters, July 21), the mere fact that you speak in terms of political parties (Democrats vs. Republicans) and that one side is better and can do a better job than the other by itself demonstrates that there is no hope, if you define “cooperation” as “agreeing with you.”
That thinking ensures that we will always be divided.
