The latest thing we should all be cowering under our bed about is artificial intelligence. “Experts,” especially know-nothing Democrat leaders, have sent out the memo and the puppy dog media is doing what they do best. They are now scaring the hell, or at least trying, out of us. They are attempting to warn us that this new technology will be the end of the humanity and we must stop it and cede any advancement and leadership to the noble thugs running China. Pardon me while I question these “experts” given their track record on trying to gin up hysteria among the people.
These are the same “experts” who said the changing climate, which has been changing for 4 billion years, would mean the death of million and billions by (fill in any date going back 25 years). Their predictions have been utterly wrong. See polar bears and the Obamas’ purchase of two beach houses as further proof. Of course the climate is changing but so what? China and India aren’t going to change their policies. So while the U.K. and Australia and Canada destroy their economies despite only producing less than 3% of global carbon emissions, pardon me if many of us don’t support doing the same here
The “experts” were wrong about so many things related to COVID that it boggles the imagination. Lab leak, 6 feet to keep you safe, shutting schools, masks, natural immunity, and many others. Of course the biggest whopper of them all was how wrong they were about the COVID vaccine.
In the past experts have warned against food shortages, peak oil, and said Hillary Clinton was a 95% sure thing. I acknowledge that experts have been correct at times. However, pardon me if I take anything any “expert” says with a grain of salt, ESPECIALLY when it’s parroted by a compliant lap dog media.
