First-time author David Heredia seeks to highlight history’s unsung heroes

When David Heredia took his children to storytime at the library, he couldn’t help but notice that the heroes in all these stories were not ethnically diverse. So, he sought to remedy that by creating his own children’s book.

Artist David Heredia Helps Fight For Diversity and Representation with Company Heroes of Color

Local artist and animator David Heredia created the animated series "Heroes of Color" and a nonprofit company with the same name in March to promote inclusion for different cultures and highlight the achievements of historical figures around the world.
