Overturned truck briefly closes off ramp in Castaic

An overturned big rig temporarily blocked the on ramp to the I-5 freeway at Lake Hughes Road Monday afternoon.

The crash was reported at 4:30 p.m. Monday when a big rig hauling a cardboard load overturned on the southbound I-5 at the Lake Hughes Road off ramp.

Officials from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol responded to the solo crash.

The Lake Hughes Road off ramp and on ramp were temporarily closed to clear the debris and vehicle.

No injuries were reported from the crash.
