A 22-year-old Canyon Country woman was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of attempted murder in relation to an incident directed at her two-year-old daughter.
Abigail Arnold was arrested by deputies of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station shortly after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Lt. Bryan Aguilera told The Signal Thursday afternoon.
The suspect remains in custody at the Lynwood Detention Center with bail set at $2 million.
“She made it known that there had been an attempt,” Aguilera said. “She stopped herself from moving forward.”
Aguilera said a “third party” notified the sheriff’s station about the incident.
Arnold was scheduled to appear in San Fernando Superior Court on Thursday.
