Even though the clouds rolled in over Santa Clarita Sunday morning, the sun came out, allowing residents to spend some time in the park.
Ted and Debbie Barker decided to take their dog Winnie, named after the childhood character Winnie the Pooh, out for her very first time at a dog park.
“She stayed near us the entire time,” Debbie Barker said.
Others taking advantage of the sun were 11-year-old Aidan Maynard and his trainer Guillermo Castro.
“I’m getting ready for club and upcoming tournaments,” Maynard said.
Ken Craft brought his dog Kingston to Golden Valley Park on Sunday and explained how this was one of his favorite parks to bring his dog.
“We’ve been to Central Park before, but we like this (park) the best,” Craft said.
