Carnival games, egg hunts and the Easter Bunny itself were all at bethlehemSCV in Canyon Country on Saturday for the seventh annual Easter Eggventure.
Kids enthusiastically checked out the bright-colored eggs and games as their families followed them to every booth.
“We just wanted to share the love of Jesus Christ and a few eggs with our community,” said Debbie D’Amico, the family ministry director at bethlehemSCV.
And more than a few eggs were shared with the community. Kids raced each other to grab candy-filled eggs that were scattered across the grass. They also got their face painted, took pictures with the Easter Bunny and much more.
“All the kids leave here looking like bunnies,” said D’Amico.
One such kid was five-year-old Colton Bregel, who was attending the event for the third year in a row. Three generations of Bregel’s family were at the event on Saturday, including Bregel’s mother, and grandfather.
“We make sure we come here,” said Lindsay Bregel, Colton’s mother.
And despite all the fun distractions on Saturday, the church was still dedicated to community service. They collected money and canned goods for Help the Children in Santa Clarita.
