Van Halen Tribute to Rock at Concerts in the Park at Central Park

Return to the early days of Van Halen and spend the evening rocking out with friends and family at Concerts in the Park, presented by Logix Federal Credit Union, on Saturday, July 22, at 7:00 p.m. The Atomic Punks, one of Los Angeles’ top tribute bands, will add to their storied career with a free show at Santa Clarita’s Central Park, located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road.

The Atomic Punks formed in 1994 and pride themselves on recreating the best of early Van Halen music, specifically the David Lee Roth era. During their time touring the country, The Atomic Punks have developed a national following, which continues to grow with every concert.

The band has performed more than 1,500 shows over the years, including concerts in Hollywood, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego, Minneapolis, Denver, St. Louis, Honolulu, Seattle, Pittsburgh and New York City. Perhaps most memorable for the band are those played in Pasadena, where Van Halen shot to stardom.

Concerts in the Park is a series of free concerts put on by the City every Saturday night through August 26. The family-friendly atmosphere allows residents and visitors to sit back, relax and enjoy the music all summer long.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring beach chairs and blankets, and food vendors will be on site selling a variety of concessions and snacks. A free bicycle valet service is provided by the SCV Bicycle Coalition, allowing residents to bike to and from the concert and avoid the hassle of finding a place to park.
