On Wednesday, the Sulphur Springs Union School District Governing Board is expected to conduct a regular meeting at its administrative center.
During the meeting, Governing Board members are expected to hear an update from PFMG staff about the impact of the first year of operation of the Solar Energy System.
PFMG staff is expected to detail the system installed, the district’s solar usage compared to its estimated usage, and the amount the district saved in the first year.
Board members are also expected to approve a license agreement with Sunshine Day Camp, Inc. at Pinetree to provide before and after-school care to students, and approve a license agreement with the Santa Clarita Valley YMCA for before and/or after school care.
Governing Board members are also expected to approve an amendment to its Child Development Contract first approved June 8.
The California Department of Education amended the contract to increase the revenues for the State Preschool Program for the 2017-18 school  year.
It also increased the maximum reimbursable amount from $598,898 to $677,078 for the state preschool budget, and increased the maximum rate per child day of enrollment payable from $40.45 to $45.73.
Finally, board members are also expected to approve of board policies about Resignations and conduct a first reading of an updated board policy and administrative regulation about Community Relations.
