A motorcyclist was injured and taken to the hospital Tuesday morning following a traffic collision on Interstate 5 in Castaic.
The crash happened shortly after 7:45 a.m. on the southbound lanes of I-5 at Lake Hughes Road.
“This call was for a traffic collision with a motorcycle down,” Inspector Randall Wright of the Los Angeles County Fire Department told The Signal Tuesday.
Paramedics were dispatched to the crash at 7:50 a.m., he said, and arrived there at 7:54 a.m.
The patient was taken to the hospital at 8:09 a.m.
