A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital Monday morning following a traffic collision with a car on Tourney Road at Magic Mountain Parkway.
Shortly after 8:05 a.m., emergency response crews responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a silver-colored Lexus sedan.
“This was for a motorcycle versus vehicle,” said Joey Napoli, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the crash.
At 8:13 a.m., when paramedics arrived at the scene of the traffic collision, they requested an ambulance also respond to the crash.
“One patient was transported to the hospital at 8:22 a.m., ” Napoli said.
One firefighter at the scene reported that the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries, and was awake and talking.
