“Faced with one of the most difficult jobs in the Santa Clarita Valley — keeping an entire community safe — Capt. Robert Lewis of the SCV Sheriff’s Station regularly makes sure we live in one of the safest communities in the entire country.”
— Richard Budman, Signal Publisher/Owner
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Capt. Robert Lewis has been an extremely busy man since taking the helm, in April 2017, of one of our two main local law enforcement agencies. In addition to leading a team of deputies, detectives, sergeants, lieutenants and more in an effort that’s kept crime to record lows for our area, he’s also overseen the construction of another state-of-the-art project expected to serve the SCV’s citizenry in 2020: a brand new sheriff’s station.
He frequently meets with members of the community, concerned citizens and anyone who turns out to one of the Coffee with a Cop events, and makes sure deputies have open lines of dialogue with the people they serve.
As we head into an era of unprecedented growth for the Santa Clarita Valley, public safety will very much be at the forefront, which is why it’s important to have experienced local leaders like Lewis.
