“Linda Storli-Koontz’ involvement in the Santa Clarita Valley, whether it’s through her work for years on community events like the Fourth of July Parade, in the classroom at Canyon High or more recently for the whole Hart District, has been a real asset for this community.”

— Richard Budman, Signal Publisher/Owner

After more than 25 years of teaching at Canyon High School, the teacher and Realtor decided to continue her involvement in education on a slightly larger scale: She retired from the front of the classroom for a spot on the dais, where she’s served as a board member since 2015.

Storli has not only advocated on behalf of Santa Clarita Valley students for years, but she’s also served with the city of Santa Clarita as a member of the city’s Parks Commission.

Storli-Koontz also began selling real estate in the 1990s with her husband, Dennis Koontz, and continues today as a part of the JP Investments real estate group.

After devoting decades to public education in the classroom, Linda Storli-Koontz earned the trust of voters in 2016, when they sent her to the dais to represent the William S. Hart Union High School District on a much larger scale.
