The city of Santa Clarita, in partnership with the American Red Cross, held a blood drive on Friday at Cedar Hall at The Centre for people ages 16 and older. Last year, the city hosted 11 blood drives, collecting more than 420 units of blood, which is enough blood to potentially save 1,260 lives, according to a news release.
