Valerie Bradford’s (March 4) letter to The Signal claiming our nation is not inclusive is par for the course. As (the former) head of the NAACP (Santa Clarita Valley chapter), divisiveness must thrive … It’s in her interest to peddle the notion that non-whites need preferential treatment to reach great heights.

Talk about the soft bigotry of low expectations.
