A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle on the 28400 block of Winterdale Drive in Canyon Country on Monday, according to officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
When deputies arrived on the scene, the suspect showed signs of alcohol impairment, according to an email statement from Deputy Mariela Picard with the station.
During a search of the vehicle prior to towing, an unloaded concealed firearm was located in the vehicle, Picard’s statement said.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of DUI and possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle, according to the statement.
