The Los Angeles Dodgers celebrated their dramatic World Series win with a parade in downtown L.A. Monday followed by a celebration rally at a packed Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in game seven in Toronto on Saturday night, coming from behind to force extra innings and winning, 5-4, in the 11th inning. Among the Dodgers’ champions is pitcher Tyler Glasnow, a Hart High School graduate who made three appearances in the seven-game World Series – one as a starter and two in relief. Glasnow struck out 25 in six postseason appearances, posting a playoff earned run average of 1.69. He earned a save in game six of the World Series, entering the game in the ninth inning with runners on second and third and no outs. He forced a pop-up then pitched a double-play ball to end the game – recording the final three outs while facing only two batters.
