Local students named to dean’s list at University of Maryland Global Campus
More than 18,700 University of Maryland Global Campus students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2025 term, including eight local students.
The local students earning honors were:
• Arvey Ambos, of Santa Clarita.
• Nikkia Carbonell, of Canyon Country.
• Dezmond Flores, of Santa Clarita.
• Joseph Gonzalez, of Stevenson Ranch.
• David Keller, of Valencia.
• Frank Morales, of Stevenson Ranch.
• Paolo Jose Santos, of Agua Dulce.
• Luna Skye-Standifer, of Canyon Country.
To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

Andrew VanDyke named to MSOE honors list
Andrew VanDyke, from Valencia, was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s honors list for the 2025 fall semester. VanDyke is pursuing a bachelor of science in industrial engineering.
Students taking undergraduate courses who have earned at least 12 credits in residence at MSOE, are in good academic standing, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher are on the dean’s list.
Milwaukee School of Engineering is an independent, nonprofit university founded in 1903. MSOE offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering, computer science, business, nursing, mathematics, user experience and construction management.
