News release

Professional “ghost hunter” Marie Mason is coming to Fort Tejon, about 40 miles north of Santa Clarita, for a special pre-Halloween paranormal investigation.

The event, scheduled 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Oct. 26, is billed as “a real paranormal investigation of Fort Tejon,” said a news release from the ghost hunter.

“For one night only, Marie and her team equip spirit and specter seekers with state-of-the-art equipment to better intercede with otherworldly oddities,” the release said.

A former United States Army fort in the mid-1800s, Fort Tejon is now a state park and, as legend has it, is also haunted.

For tickets and more information, visit FortTejonHalloween.eventbrite.com. Guests can take part in one of three investigations at 7 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. and will visit six locations within the park. Tickets start at $65 for adults and $28 for children under 12.
