Teenager struck by vehicle in Santa Clarita

A teenager was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street near his house on the 26000 block of Isabella Parkway on Sunday, officials said.

The driver was traveling northbound on Isabella Parkway when he struck the teenager.

The teenager was transported to Northridge Hospital with minor injuries.

No citations were issued as of 2:51 p.m.

“We are still investigating the cause of the accident,” said Lt. Brenda Cambra of the SCV Sheriff’s Station. “We haven’t determined who is at fault.”

The incident was reported at 12:21 p.m. and cleared at 12:57 p.m.
