As avid readers of The Signal we agree with those who choose Bruce Fox for the Saugus Union School District board. Bruce has spent the majority of his adult life interfacing with youth.

He spent his 30 years as an officer on the Glendale Police Department relating to the young people of Glendale, serving on the Department’s Explorer Program, as a school resource officer, and the city’s first D.A.R.E. officer.

He was a member of the Castaic Union School District board. He has been a member of the Saugus community since 1993 and has two children who attended the Saugus schools, and his third is presently enrolled in Saugus schools.

He continues to be actively engaged in youth activities and is a high school government teacher at Desert Christian School.

Bruce holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration and a master’s degree in organizational leadership.

With his background of leadership in youth activities as well as service on a school board, he brings a unique perspective and problem-solving ability to our school district.

It is a privilege to recommend that Bruce Fox be elected to the Saugus Union School District Trustee Area 3 on Nov. 8.
